CONVENIENT DELIVERY OPTIONS
  • Coursework for the Ed.D. with an autism minor is offered in a variety of formats – completely online, at NSU’s Main Campus in South Florida, or through a combination of on-site and online (blended) classes. The distance education program at the Fischler School of Education allows busy professionals the option to complete their doctoral degree in autism education without leaving their jobs or traveling great distances. Students may elect to take their core seminars at NSU’s South Florida campuses or completely online. Concentration and elective courses will be delivered completely online.

Online courses for an Ed.D. in autism education allow international students and those who don’t live near the South Florida campuses to interact in a virtual classroom.
  • Blended programs combine on-site and online instruction. On-site courses are offered periodically over weekends and supplemented with online study.
In addition to coursework, all doctoral students in the autism education program are required to participate in the Conference on Global Leadership, Learning, and Research in their first year of studies.
