Smart Horizons Childcare Professionals
Welcome to NSU’s Fischler School of Education. The series of events you are setting in motion today will have a powerful effect on you, your students, your peers, and all those around you.
Through the collaborative efforts of the Fischler School and the Mailman Seagal Institute, Smart Horizons Childcare Professionals who have completed the Smart Horizons training program and earned their CDA National Credential or the Florida Child Care Professional Certificate (FCCPC) can be awarded 9 credits towards a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Child Development. Professionals who complete the Director’s Credential are eligible for three more credits towards the bachelor’s degree. Coursework completed through Smart Horizons toward the CDA renewal will be considered for transfer to a maximum of three credits into the bachelor’s degree program at the Fischler School.
