The Lives You Touch

The Science Master grant was awarded to provide up to 60 full scholarships to K-12 teachers in Manatee County to pursue Master’s degrees in the area of science education. In support of the grant, Nova Southeastern University’s Fischler School of Education and Human Services and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University have joined together to offer three specialized programs designed to provide educators with instructional strategies and subject-related content for teaching the sciences.

Manatee County teachers must first apply for acceptance under the grant through the Manatee County District to be eligible for the scholarship. After qualifying for the grant eligible teachers must apply to the University, for admittance prior to enrolling in their selected program of study.
