How do I become a member of Phi Gamma Sigma?

When is the membership application due?
Phi Gamma Sigma membership applications may be submitted at any time during the year; however, to attend the annual induction ceremony, membership applications must be received prior to commencement which is held usually in the middle of June.
When is the induction ceremony held?
The induction ceremony is held each year on the same day as commencement.
How much is the membership fee?
The initial membership fee is $100.00.

Do I need to renew my membership every year, and is there a membership renewal fee?
Yes, you must renew your membership each year by paying a $50.00 renewal fee.
When are membership renewal fees due?
Membership renewal fees are due between March and May of each year. Renewal fees must be submitted no later than May 31st.
Once I become a member, how long is my membership active?
The Phi Gamma Sigma membership term is from July 1st- June 30th, which is contingent upon renewal.
How will I receive my membership package?
Membership packages will be distributed to all new members at the annual induction ceremony. *Members unable to attend the annual induction ceremony will receive their membership package via United States Postal Service (USPS) ground mail approximately 30-60 days after this event.
How can I update my contact information?
To update your contact information, please send an email to phigammasigma@nova.edu indicating the information you need to have updated.
What if I lose my membership card?
If you lose your membership card, you may request a card replacement by sending an email to phigammasigma@nova.edu. The cost to replace your card is $5.00.
